Do you want your career to soar high in the sky like an airplane? Well, a Master’s course in Aeronautical Engineering can help you get closer to your dreams. It is a post-graduate course that prepares you for a challenging yet exciting career in aeronautical space. Aeronautical engineering is one of the two main branches of aerospace engineering; the other is astronautical engineering. The 1.5-year post-graduate course will allow you to specialize in a particular area of the field and open doors to innumerable aeronautical jobs. The program covers topics such as advanced aircraft design, advanced propulsion, aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, flow diagnostics, and aerospace stress diagnostics. Post-graduate aeronautical engineers are also offered management roles in the industry. Thus, the course may also include an element of management and leadership, probably in an optional module or specialization. Pursuing the post-graduate program at a Bulgarian university will expose you to a mix of lectures, seminars, and tutorials, allowing you to take part in laboratory work and field visits. Let us find out more about the admission process.
Please check the detailed eligibility criteria a student must fulfil while enrolling in the Master’s course in Aeronautical Engineering:
Educational Requirements: The student must present his certificate of Bachelor’s in Science or other equivalent degree in science. If science was not the primary subject of study during the bachelor’s, then he or she should undergo one semester of compensatory education.
Entry-Level Tests: Entry-level tests are in English, and students can secure admission only after appearing for an entry test.
English Proficiency Test: Students with basic English language proficiency can sit for the university exam. If they pass the test, they get enrolled in the first year of study in their preferred degree course. In case, they do not pass the test, they must attend 10 months of preparatory language and specialized courses in English or Bulgarian, depending on the language in which the specialties are offered.
Here are the levels of proficiency required in the English language:

Even though English is an international language, many Bulgarian universities will require you to have some command over their regional language too. It is because universities in Bulgaria use English as an optional language. The option is for foreigners as the course is global.
It is important to know the deadlines of submitting the application. Most Bulgarian universities accept new admission forms and applications from April to December. Students must submit their applications for the upcoming term within these months.
